Design Brief
A new pool and spa in Long Beach built around a blue mosaic water wall — with a sun shelf, gray paver deck and turf accents for a clean, modern backyard.
Site Obstacles & Engineering
The yard needed a full pool, spa and lounge space on a standard city lot without feeling crowded.
Key Decisions
We kept the hardscape tight to the pool and used turf strips instead of full planting beds, so the deck, water and lawn read as one open space.
Final Outcome
The completed space includes sun shelf for in-pool lounging; water wall as the yard's focal point; paver deck with turf joints; dusk lighting on the water.
