What separates a luxury pool build?

Engineering and detail tolerance — a vanishing edge that reads as a perfect line requires a level shell within a fraction of an inch, a correctly sized catch basin and a surge system that actually holds the water.

Anyone can draw an infinity edge. Building one that stays quiet, stays clean and does not run the basin dry when six people get in is a structural and hydraulic problem. That is where the money goes on these projects, and it is not visible in a rendering.

Building pools on hillside and view lots

Hillside pools require a geotechnical report, engineered caissons or grade beams, grading review and often crane or conveyor access — all of which are planned before design is finalized, not discovered mid-build.

Our Rolling Hills and Palos Verdes projects are the clearest examples: pools set on graded terraces, composite view decks with cable railing so the guardrail does not eat the view, and turf-inlay concrete that keeps the terrace from reading as a slab.

Materials we specify most

Glass and porcelain tile, mitered-edge porcelain coping, travertine and Arterra porcelain decking, and micro-fusion interior finishes.
