Design Brief
A pool, fire-pit lounge, covered kitchen bar with an outdoor TV and a poolside projector screen — a Huntington Beach yard built for nights, not just afternoons.
Site Obstacles & Engineering
The client wanted a yard that performs after dark without turning into a lighting installation.
Key Decisions
Layered low-voltage lighting — uplit walls, warm bar lighting and the fire trough itself — carries the yard at night, with screens and TV placed so seating works for both.
Final Outcome
The completed space includes outdoor television at the bar; projector screen facing the pool; uplit walls and fire trough for night use; teak lounge seating around the fire.
