Attached, raised or standalone?

Adding a spa to an existing pool

Yes, a spa can be added to an existing pool — it is engineered into the existing shell and plumbed into the existing equipment pad, and it is best done as part of a remodel.

The two constraints are structural (tying new gunite to a 25-year-old shell correctly) and hydraulic (whether the existing pad can carry spa jets and independent heat, or needs upgrading). We check both before quoting.
