Straight Talk About Pricing
I update this post every year because material costs, labor rates, and market conditions keep shifting. What was accurate in 2024 isn't accurate in 2026. Here's what our actual projects are costing right now in Los Angeles.
Paver Pricing (2026)
Installed Cost Per Square Foot
- Standard concrete pavers: $18-25/sq ft
- Premium concrete (Belgard, Techo-Bloc): $22-30/sq ft
- Travertine: $28-40/sq ft
- Porcelain pavers: $32-45/sq ft
- Natural stone (flagstone): $35-50/sq ft
These prices include demolition of existing surface, proper base preparation, installation, and polymeric sand. They assume reasonable access and no major grading issues.

What's Changed from 2024
Honestly, prices have stabilized. After the crazy increases of 2021-2023, we're seeing more predictable costs. Labor is still the biggest driver—good crews are in demand, and quality work commands premium rates.
No hidden fees, no surprises. The final cost matched the estimate almost exactly. — Christine A.
💡 Pro Tip
Get at least 3 detailed quotes. Compare line by line—not just the total. Cheap quotes often skip base prep or use thinner materials.
